Jeremiah 29:11. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Most of the time when God moves in your life or answers a prayer it’s not like you imagined it would be. We look at things only from one level; the soul, which is our mind, will, and emotions. We think that’s gotta be the best, as we use our reasoning to plan out our next steps.
Isaiah 55:8-9“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
God is unlimited in ideas, planning, and creativity for us. If we can get our own plans out of the way to open up and hear Him, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what He has for you. If you’re wanting more and you have a preconceived plan, you’ll probably miss God’s best for you!
God wants the best for you. He wants you to succeed, be prosperous, and healthy. We as His people have to take time to search Him out. Read His word, pray to Him, which is just having a conversation with Him. Building a relationship is how we get to know someone, it works the same with God.
When Jesus died and rose again, He took every sin, sickness, disease in His and in His body, past present and future sins. He fulfilled the Old Testament laws of “doing to get”. Jesus’ perfect sacrifice opened the door to a whole new relationship with His Father! We are no longer under the law. Jesus has set us free!
Romans 8:2. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. Before Jesus left this earth he gave us a promise.
John 15:26-27“I will send you the Helper from the Father. The Helper is the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father. When he comes, he will tell you about me. And you will tell people about me too, because you have been with me from the beginning.”
The Holy Spirit is alway revealing Jesus to us. He’s our teacher. He can show us creative ways to do things better, communicate and reveal not only our future but how to communicate effectively and love others not based on performance. He can direct our path, show us where to live and what job is best for us. There’s a spirit realm that we cannot see with physical eyes, but it’s always there working. Just like we cannot not see radio or TV signals that are working to provide for us, if we turn on our appliance.
If we open our spiritual heart and eyes to the Holy Spirit, the possibilities are endless!
